Our Holistic Interventions

                   A holistic approach means to provide support for the whole person, not just their mental health needs. The support also considers their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. 

                   Each person will have a different experience of mental illness and a path to recovery that is influenced by their age, gender, culture, heritage, language, faith & relationship status, life experience, and belief. It is important not to assume that how you interpret situations will be the same as the person you are supporting. Listening, asking, and checking are key skills to be able to provide a holistic service. A holistic approach focuses on a person's wellness and not just their illness or condition.

Medical camp for the needy in remote areas

                                       We conducted a medical camp for general check-ups, which included basic health check-ups, blood pressure check-ups, and blood sugar testing. Our focus was to check and analyze the basic health status.

                                        We conducted this medical camp at regular intervals from 2021. We aimed to help our beneficiaries achieve better health by providing certain medicines prescribed by our medical professionals. This medical camp program was organized and self-funded by the INTRINSIC HOPE FOUNDATION.

                                      The aim behind organizing this camp was that everyone should have the proper kind of health screening. And when doing so, we needed to take into account aspects like age, lifestyle, family history, and risks.
